Cepat sungguh dah lebih pada 2 minggu dah kita berpuasa. Alhamdulillah so far everything is ok for me although ramadhan tahun ini agak challenging compare to ramadhan seblum2 nie.

Ok, i'm back with another book review. This time i nak review on Puteri Gunung Ledang, another children's book by Emila Yusof (the same illustrator from The Legendary Princesses Of Malaysia). This time Emila Yusof did both-wrote and illustrated the book. This book is published by Oyez!.

Emila Yusof's writing style for this book is more like poem writing style

Jalan cerita Puteri Gunung Ledang utk buku ini sama sahaja. Penulis x dek ubah pun jln ceritanya. As usual Sultan Melaka berminat nak melamar Puteri, tetapi Puteri enggan menerima, dan menolak lamaran tersebut dengan bagi 7 syarat yg akan sukar utk ditunaikan. Namun 6 dpd syarat tersebut dpt Sultan tunaikan, kecuali syarat ke-7, iaitu semangkuk darah Putera Mahkota. Syarat ke-7 tulah yg buat Sultan Melaka menarik semula lamarannya. Pada saya, style Emila Yusof mengarang kisah Puteri Gunung Ledang ini sgt menarik. Ia lebih kpd poem style berbanding dgn essay writing. X jemu or ngantuk utk baca. Thi.s Puteri Gunung Ledang story book is written in Bahasa Malaysia. 

Batik art illustration make this book so awesome!

Sekali lagi juga Emila Yusof telah menunjukkan kecemerlangan beliau dlm illustration buku Puteri Gunung Ledang ini. The illustration is really superb, awesome, and fantastic. Ia bertemakan seni batik Malaysia. The expression of the drawings also are very imaginative. I'm really gonna rate 10/10 on the illustration.

Plus this book will also make a good gift for foreign friends (but need to publish an English version first).
