THE INTERVIEW

1. Eiyo Sandra, pls tell me about yourself and your blog.

Hi! My name is Sandra Ans and I am an online marketing manager, dog mum, and travel blogger! I have always loved traveling and my parents have already from childhood taught me how to do it. I fell in love with traveling pretty fast and later on I was doing it already with my boyfriend or friends. Over the years, I got a lot of questions about how I can travel so often and connect my work, relationships, friends, parties, pets, and travels and be successful with all of that. Then my idea of a travel blog was born. I wanted to help people, answer questions and guide them through different European countries. That also inspired me to call my blog ''My Small Travel Guide''.

2. How long have you been blogging?

I have been blogging already 2 years. My first post was posted in March 2019 and till yet I have never wanted to stop blogging.

3. What makes you want to become a blogger?

I like writing. I have always liked it. In school, I was that person, who could easily write an essay or poem about every theme. But with time I wanted more and more to bring my experience and opinion outside of ''the box''. Blogging sounds perfect for me and I need to say - becoming a blogger was one of the best decisions in my life!

4. What makes your blog unique compare to other blogs?

The fact, that all my posts and photos are my own. All my thoughts are mine, and experience also. I write about things and situations from the real side - if that destination was shitty, then I am also telling it to my readers. No lies. No pretending. I am real and open.

5. How often do you publish a new post? And how do you keep yourself motivated?

Normally I am publishing 1 - 4 posts per month. It depends on how active I travel and which topics are at the moment interesting for people. Now with traveling it's very difficult, that's why I am having only 1 - 2 posts every month and need to follow to all the news. How I keep myself motivated? I don't know... I think as I love writing so much, I don't need myself to motivate. My blog is always on my mind and I am generating new ideas wherever I go.

6. What are your top 3 most successful posts? What makes you think these top 3 posts are appealing? Please provide a URL to your top 3 most successful posts.

According to my Google Analytics, my 3 most successful posts are:

 1. 100+ best travel-inspired names for your pet

 2. 10 things you would like to know before visiting Milan

 3. Travel trailer beginner's guide with 50+ useful tips

Why they are more successful than other posts? I guess, I have here very well worked with SEO, social media and posted these posts at the right time (in time of lockdown, after it, etc.)

7. That's awesome. Even the titles are catchy. So where do you wish your blog to be in 5 years?

I wish my blog to reach more people and followers. I wish to have some great collaborations with hotels and flight companies outside Germany. I wish to love my blog with every year more and more! ♥
